- Design and implement autonomous flying drones, surface vehicles and underwater vehicles for the engineering autonomy solutions.
- Develop autonomous space, surface, subsurface and underwater exploration and imaging system for target tracking and homeland security applications
- Model the coupling of spatial dynamics and information dynamics in exploration and exploitation problems and investigate how the coupled dynamics affect collective behavior.
- Develop feasible motion patterns and control that are inspired by animal behaviors and verify the performance both theoretically and experimentally on engineering systems.
